Raised just outside Austin in Dripping Springs, local Ty Myers makes his Austin City Limits debut. Hailed “the next face of Country music” by Rolling Stone and “a generational talent” by No Depression, the singer-songwriter-guitarist is rapidly emerging as one of the genre’s most exciting new voices. Myers created a viral buzz with his debut, “Tie That Binds” in 2023, and his widely-acclaimed 2025 debut album The Select earned three RIAA certifications including his first Platinum hit with the radio single “Ends of the Earth.” His newly released sophomore album, Heavy On The Soul, channels the Southern rock, soul, and blues that shaped his musical foundation. Myers recorded the new album at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama—home to classic recordings by iconic artists including Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding. Eleven of the album’s seventeen songs are written solely by Myers, marking a next chapter for the young artist with standout tracks including “Message to You,” “Leaving Carolina,” “Through a Screen,” “Come On Over, Baby,” along with “Two Trains,” featuring Marcus King. With more than 1.4 billion global streams to date—boasting over 20 million global streams per week—Myers continues to build remarkable momentum. Myers has sparked heartthrob-level pandemonium on the road, generating enormous fan demand including the sold-out 73-date The Select Tour in 2025. He’s currently supporting Luke Combs on his stadium tour—and made his Stagecoach debut in April — following previous opening runs with artists including Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, and Willie Nelson. Having just turned 18, Myers launches his aptly named The Legal Tour this summer, a major headlining run beginning June 11. He has been featured in Rolling Stone, the Austin American-Statesman, and the Los Angeles Times, named Billboard’s Country Rookie of the Month and included on its prestigious 21 Under 21 all-genre list. Myers has also earned “Artist to Watch” recognition from GRAMMY.com, Vevo, Pandora, Spotify, and Apple Music, which named him its Country Riser of the Month.

Austin City Limits Announces Newest Hall of Fame Inductee: Brandi Carlile

Austin City Limits is proud to announce the newest inductee into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame: 11-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, producer and performer Brandi Carlile. The 12th Annual ACL Hall of Fame will honor Carlile with a celebratory induction and full-set taping on July 1, 2026.

Since its 10th Anniversary in 2024, the Hall of Fame has shifted to spotlight a singular artist each year with an in-depth tribute. Carlile now joins the ranks of the legendary artists who have shaped ACL’s enduring legacy. Tickets to the event will be distributed via a public giveaway; more information will be announced in advance. Fans are encouraged to follow @acltv on Instagram, Facebook and X for updates.

This special evening will feature music legend Bonnie Raitt, who will induct Carlile and perform in tribute. The Hall of Fame will take place at ACL’s studio home, ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Performance and induction highlights from this evening will air as an hourlong broadcast during Season 52 of Austin City Limits, premiering this September on PBS, and will be available to stream online and via the PBS App.

“Being inducted into the ACL Hall of Fame by one of my absolute heroes — Bonnie Raitt — means everything to me,” shared Brandi Carlile. “I’m so grateful to have had such a deep and powerful connection to the city of Austin and Austin City Limits all these years — and I cannot wait to hit the Moody stage in July to celebrate this immense honor.”

“I’m thrilled to induct my friend Brandi into the ACL Hall of Fame,” says Bonnie Raitt. “She is truly one of our most respected and impactful artists. I admire her not only for her incredible music, but for standing up for the causes and artists she’s passionate about, all while balancing her wonderful family life. I can’t wait to get to perform together for this show that has meant so much to us both.”

A trailblazing artist with deep roots at ACL, Brandi Carlile has delivered three standout appearances during her two-decade career. She made her debut in 2010 (Season 36), returned in 2018 for a Season 44 hour anchored by her landmark sixth studio album By the Way, I Forgive You, and headlined the Season 48 premiere in 2022 with highlights from her acclaimed seventh album In These Silent Days.

A frequent presence at the ACL Hall of Fame, Carlile notably handed induction honors for Sheryl Crow in 2022. She now returns to the ACL stage with new gems from Returning to Myself, her first solo album in four years, alongside a selection of career-spanning favorites.

Thirteen-time Grammy Award winner Bonnie Raitt made her ACL debut in 1984 during the first decade of the series in Season 9 and has appeared multiple times across the show’s five decade run. Inducted into the ACL Hall of Fame in 2016, Raitt returned in 2023 on the eve of the series’ 50th Anniversary milestone with a commanding Season 49 performance, showcasing highlights from across her storied  career.

“When Brandi Carlile first stepped onto the ACL stage more than 15 years ago, it was immediately clear she possessed a rare and singular talent,” says ACL Executive Producer Terry Lickona. “The moment you hear her voice, you know exactly who it is. She will always have a home here at ACL, and now she takes her well-deserved place in the ACL Hall of Fame. Having Bonnie Raitt there to welcome her into the fold makes the occasion all the more special.”

Established in 2014, the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame honors artists who have played a defining role in the series’ half-century legacy, celebrating them with unforgettable, one-night-only tributes, carving their name into ACL history. Each induction pairs iconic performances with heartfelt salutes from peers and admirers—memorable moments have included Matthew McConaughey inducting Willie Nelson with Texas reverence and wit, Sean Penn honoring Lyle Lovett in a hilarious and deeply personal tribute, and Ethan Hawke saluting John Prine with poetic grace. Filmmaker Cameron Crowe welcomed My Morning Jacket into the fold, while Jason Isbell paid moving tribute to Lucinda Williams, and Eagles’ Don Henley honored Trisha Yearwood. Guitar great Jimmie Vaughan inducted Buddy Guy, Mavis Staples honored Bonnie Raitt and Chris Isaak saluted Roy Orbison. The Hall of Fame stage has also hosted once-in-a-lifetime performances, including Garth Brooks marathon, two hour masterclass set for his own induction; it has seen Willie Nelson take the stage with Buddy Guy in tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and presented the Flatlanders as they reunited to celebrate Joe Ely. From all-star collaborations to singular moments of connection, the Hall of Fame has become a cornerstone of ACL’s story, capturing the freewheeling spirit, community, and musical excellence that define the series.

With a career spanning more than 30 years, two GRAMMY® Awards and 18 Latin GRAMMY® Awards, Carlos Vives is one of the most important figures in Spanish-language music and pioneer of a new Latin American sound. Deeply connected to his Colombian roots and drawing on traditional vallenato, he created a distinctive, modern style—a tropical pop sound he himself called “El rock de mi pueblo” (“The Rock of My People”)—allowing the vallenato spirit to transcend borders, languages, and cultures.

In recent years, Carlos Vives has reaffirmed his place as one of the most influential cultural references in Latin music. The year 2026 marks a new era in his career with the release of El Último Disco, introduced by its first single, “Te Dedico,” signaling a return to the values that truly matter, such as romanticism and a more intimate way of connecting through music. At the same time, he is preparing for a major international tour, Tour al Sol, scheduled for 2026, whose first phase will visit Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico, followed by Colombia and Ecuador.

He closed 2025 being honored as Leyenda de Nuestra Tierra at Premios Juventud for the impact of his artistic career, and recognized as an Agent of Change for his social leadership through the Tras La Perla Foundation. He also triumphed at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, where he received the Silver and Gold Seagull awards, earned multiple Premio Lo Nuestro nominations—including Tropical Artist of the Year—and celebrated the 30th anniversary of La Tierra del Olvido with the release of La Tierra del Olvido: 30 Años (Remastered & Expanded). This project includes the hit track “La Tierra del Olvido (Salsa Version)” with Grupo Niche, a collaboration that conquered digital platforms. Additionally, Carlos Vives was one of the featured artists for the official Telemundo 2026 World Cup Anthem.

Recognized as the 2024 Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy, Vives has received the industry’s most prestigious awards, including two GRAMMY® Awards and 18 Latin GRAMMY® Awards, solidifying his status as a cross-generational inspiration. Over the past five years, he has performed more than 350 concerts, filling arenas and stadiums in over 25 countries. During a visit to Mexico City, he was honored at the Wax Museum, where he unveiled his figure alongside cultural icons such as Frida Kahlo and global superstars like Lady Gaga and Madonna.

In 2020, he was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Awards Hall of Fame, an honor reserved for artists with global impact who transcend genres and languages. This recognition is joined by distinctions such as the Icon Award at the Musa Awards, ASCAP’s Founders Award, the Legacy Award at the Latin American Music Awards, and multiple Billboard Awards, positioning him as one of the most prolific Latin American artists of his generation.

Carlos Vives’ work revolves around the study, promotion, and celebration of Colombian identity in all its diversity. In 1993, he founded his band La Provincia and the label Gaira Música Local, conceived as a tribute to rural and mestizo musicians of the Colombian

Caribbean and as a creative laboratory for new talent. With more than 10 billion digital streams and 20 million albums sold, Carlos has become a cultural ambassador for Colombia, bringing its music to the world through iconic songs such as “La Gota Fría,” “Pa’ Mayte,” “La Tierra del Olvido,” “Fruta Fresca,” and “Volví a Nacer.”

He is one of the most beloved and respected artists in the industry and has collaborated with key figures in Ibero-American music such as Shakira, Rubén Blades, Alejandro Sanz, Juanes, Marc Anthony, Sebastián Yatra, Luis Fonsi, and Camilo, among many others.

His talent has also been expressed as a songwriter, music producer, and actor. He participated in the main track of Disney’s animated film Encanto and was the creator and star of the soundtrack for the Disney series El Club de los Graves

In the social sphere, Carlos stands out for his commitment to sustainable development. In 2015, he created Tras La Perla, an initiative focused on the well-being of Santa Marta and its surrounding region, including the Sierra Nevada and the Ciénaga Grande. Through this project, he has joined efforts with organizations such as the IDB, CAF, USAID, and Conservation International, among others, generating real impact in local communities. For this work, he has received recognitions such as the Bravo Award for Leadership with Social Impact, the Latino Impact Award at the United Nations, and the Commitment Award at the Premios Heat Music Awards, and was named by Revista Gerente as one of Colombia’s 100 leaders in society. He also joined Goya Cares in a global initiative against child trafficking.

In 2016, he founded the Río Grande Music School, an inclusive space for the artistic education of children and young people, and continues to promote new voices through Gaira Música Local. As an entrepreneur, he is the creator of Cumbia House, an entertainment center that celebrates Colombian identity through music, art, architecture, and gastronomy.
