COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. By registering for or otherwise accepting a pass to attend a taping of Austin City Limits at the Moody Theater (an “ACL taping”), you agree as follows:
Assumption of Risk. You understand that (a) coronavirus disease 2019 (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, collectively, “COVID-19”) is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe injury, illness, disability and/or death, (b) by attending the ACL taping, you will be in an indoor facility and may come into close contact with other people, and (c) there is no guarantee, express or implied, that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 as a result of attending the ACL taping. Notwithstanding such risks, you have voluntarily decided to attend the ACL taping and agree that YOU ARE ASSUMING ALL RISKS OF INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY AND/OR DEATH THAT MAY RESULT FROM YOUR EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AT, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, THE ACL TAPING, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF AUSTIN PBS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS OR ITS AFFILIATES’ RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS OR REPRESENTATIVES (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”) OR OTHERWISE.
Release of Claims. YOU WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE AUSTIN PBS AND THE OTHER RELEASEES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES AND LIABILITIES WHATSOEVER (WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN) WITH RESPECT TO ANY INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY AND/OR DEATH THAT MAY RESULT FROM YOUR EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AT, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, THE ACL TAPING, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY SUCH CLAIMS, DAMAGES AND/OR LIABILITIES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF AUSTIN PBS OR ANY OTHER RELEASEE.
