Austin City Limits Announces Summer Highlights: New Tapings with Sienna Spiro and Maggie Rose

Austin City Limits is thrilled to announce a pair of summer tapings showcasing two acclaimed rising talents. On July 15, ACL welcomes breakout artist Sienna Spiro for her highly anticipated series debut, previewing songs from her forthcoming debut album Visitor. On August 24, celebrated singer-songwriter Maggie Rose makes her long-awaited ACL debut with highlights from her upcoming release Half Moon.

A show-stopping vocal talent with an uncompromising artistic vision, Sienna Spiro transforms deeply personal emotion into something communal and cathartic. Since the fall 2025 release of her global breakout hit “Die On This Hill,” the 20-year-old London-born singer-songwriter has captivated audiences with soul-baring songs that explore love, loss and vulnerability, pairing her breathtaking voice with a sophisticated blend of soul and symphonic pop. Though Sienna has been making music since the age of 10, her arrival has been swift and undeniable. In just a matter of months, she sold out her first North American headline tour within seconds, earned a coveted BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice shortlist nomination, starred in a major Gap holiday campaign, and delivered a stunning performance of her Platinum-certified single “Die On This Hill” on “The Tonight Show.” Critical acclaim soon followed, with raves from Rolling Stone, LA Times, NYLON, V Magazine, and The New York Times, while Variety hailed her as “one of the greatest voices of her generation.” By early 2026, in a testament to the extraordinary power of her songcraft and voice, Sienna simultaneously landed three singles on the Billboard Hot 100 —”Die On This Hill,” “You Stole The Show” and “The Visitor”—all ahead of the release of her debut album. Out July 3rd via Capitol Records, Visitor is a striking opening statement exploring the fragility of life and love through lush orchestration, cinematic arrangements, and deeply emotional songwriting. The candid and elegantly crafted collection finds Sienna collaborating with an elite roster of producers and orchestral composers in legendary studios including Electric Lady in New York, Abbey Road in London, and Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles. Following the album’s release, Sienna will appear at a number of major festivals this summer and fall, including Lollapalooza, Newport Jazz Festival, All Things Go, Outside Lands and our namesake ACL Fest.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Maggie Rose’s highly anticipated new album Half Moon arrives August 14th. Produced by Lawrence Rothman (Amanda Shires, Margo Price) and Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges), the collection is a creative highpoint in Rose’s artistic evolution, pairing the confidence of a seasoned performer with a renewed sense of vulnerability and creative freedom. Written and recorded in collaboration with Rothman and Tashian, Half Moon emerged from a series of intimate writing sessions that yielded songs rich in emotional depth and musical texture. “We’d leave each session with these beautiful, fully conceived demos, and after a few songs it became apparent that something special was happening,” says Rose, who was eight months pregnant at the outset of the album’s creation.  Featuring lush string arrangements, warm horn sections, and Rose’s commanding vocals, the album reflects a newly expanded emotional landscape inspired in part by motherhood and personal transformation. “We’re in an extremely vulnerable time, so I hope this record gives people space to feel whatever they need to feel,” says Rose. “I hope it helps everyone be more gentle with themselves and reminds them that, just like the moon, we don’t need to shine full and bright all of the time to do what we’re meant to do.” After more than a decade honing her craft and building a devoted following, the Nashville-based artist has emerged as one of Americana’s most celebrated voices. Rose earned back-to-back GRAMMY nominations for her acclaimed 2024 album No One Gets Out Alive and her 2025 collaboration with Grace Potter, “Poison In My Well,” and received an Emerging Act of the Year nomination from the Americana Music Association in 2025. Rolling Stone named No One Gets Out Alive one of the 100 Best Albums of 2024, while Variety hailed Rose as “a queen among Nashville singers.” A dynamic live performer, Rose has shared stages with Chris Stapleton, Kelly Clarkson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Dave Matthews Band, My Morning Jacket, Heart, Melissa Etheridge and Molly Tuttle, among many others. A fixture of the Nashville music community, she has made more than 100 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and hosts the acclaimed podcast Salute the Songbird, featuring candid conversations with some of her musical heroes.
