The 2024 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place September 5, 2024, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Garth Brooks was the sole honoree and was inducted by Austin City Limits executive producer Terry Lickona. Following the induction, Garth Brooks and his band performed a two-hour set with special guest Trisha Yearwood.
The 2023 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 26, 2023, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were Trisha Yearwood and John Prine.
A parade of music luminaries including Don Henley, Jo Dee Messina, Ronnie Dunn, Tyler Childers, Allison Russell, Kurt Vile and Tommy Prine took part in saluting the honorees with one-of-a-kind music performances and intimate tributes.
The 2022 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 27, 2022, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were Sheryl Crow and Joe Ely.
Performers included Marcia Ball, Brandi Carlile, Rodney Crowell, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock, Jason Isbell, Lucius, Brittney Spencer, and Lloyd Maines and the ACL All Stars.
Lawrence Wright was a special guest.
The 2021 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 28, 2021, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were Wilco, Lucinda Williams and Alejandro Escovedo.
Performers included Jason Isbell, Margo Price, John Doe, Sheila E., Lenny Kaye, Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner, Rosanne Cash, Bill Callahan, Terry Allen and Del Castillo’s Alex Ruiz.
The 2019 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 24, 2019, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were singer-songwriting legends Shawn Colvin and Lyle Lovett and blues giant Buddy Guy.
The event featured an all-star line-up including special guest Sean Penn with performances by Shawn Colvin, Lyle Lovett, Buddy Guy, Jackson Browne, Shemekia Copeland, Jimmie Vaughan, Edie Brickell, Sarah Jarosz, Willis Alan Ramsey and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.
The ceremony was hosted by Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen, who also performed.
The 2018 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 25, 2018, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were Marcia Ball, Ray Charles and Los Lobos.
The event featured an all-star line-up including special guests Robert Rodriguez and John Burk with performances by Marcia Ball, Los Lobos, Norah Jones, Boz Scaggs, Gary Clark Jr., Ruthie Foster, Robert Randolph, Adrian Quesada, Irma Thomas, Tracy Nelson, Lou Ann Barton, Shelley King, and Carolyn Wonderland.
The ceremony was hosted by Chris Isaak, who also performed.
The 2017 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 25, 2017, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were Rosanne Cash, the Neville Brothers and Roy Orbison. The 50th Anniversary of the Public Broadcasting Act, signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1967 was also celebrated.
Performers included Rosanne Cash, Elvis Costello, Brandi Carlile, Neko Case, Ry Cooder, Dr. John, the Mavericks’ Raul Malo, Trombone Shorty, and the Nevilles Band.
The ceremony was hosted by Chris Isaak, who also performed.
The 2016 Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place October 12, 2016, at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.
Inductees were B.B. King, Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt, and Dick Peterson.
Performers included Willie Nelson, Mavis Staples, Rodney Crowell, Gary Clark Jr., Billy Gibbons, B.B. King Band, Taj Mahal, and Eve Monsees.
Comedy super couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally served as emcees for the evening.
